Happy Friday! Today we are honoured to have a guest post from Pia Khurana, a successful ten-year-old model and actress from India. These are dream jobs for many people, and Pia wanted to share with you just what it’s like to do them for real:

Hiiii! I am Pia, a passionate child artist and a model. My journey of becoming an artist and a model started from my mind as I was, and still am, very much sure of what I want. God has been very kind.

So far, I have managed to add Hindi/ Bollywood movies, TV commercials, AVs, short movies, documentaries, corporate videos, print shoots and digital shoots to my profile. My mother acts as my Manager.

One very important thing is: my parents have always helped me make sure I have a great balance between shoots and school work and there is a very clear boundary.

It is really great to work with different teams. There is a lot of learning every time I go for a shoot. Every set-up has something different to offer and demand. You work with different teams which helps you build skills to deal with teams and become versatile!

I have always been blessed to get very supportive teams across all the projects I have done. What keeps me going  is the zeal inside and my passion. I love to perform each time as I enjoy each bit of what I do and just do it thoroughly by heart.

Apart from acting and modelling I love to write, sing, dance, swim, read. And I am a total health freak!

My mantra is: stay focused and be consistent!
