Today we’re meeting an inspirational and entrepreneurial blogger aged six.
Camille Bolap lives with her family in Pangnirtung, a small community in Nunavut, Canada.
Camille is currently starting a business (with the help of her parents) and blogging about her business and other adventures here.
Camille, tell us about your business? How did you get to be running a business aged just six?
My business is called Sweet Party Rental, people can rent inflatable bouncers for parties and to have fun. I wanted to run a business to earn money to buy some things.
What do you like about blogging?
I like writing and using a computer, with Weebly it is easy to write and publish a post. I like writing about my business and we use different things like drawings and pictures. I get to draw, take pictures and crop and edit them on PicMonkey.
Why do you think it’s good for a business to have a blog?
I don’t know for sure, but you can write stories about your business. You can tell people what you are doing and how things are going. After you can read your posts and remember what you wrote and what happened..
What do you like to do when you’re not blogging?
I like doing Maths Whizz on the computer. I like drawing and painting. I like to write and read. I like baking, swimming, horseback riding and playing the violin. Also using the iPad and watching DVDs.
What would you like to do when you grow up?
I would like to bake different things every day, like cupcakes and noodle pudding. I just read about noodle pudding in a book “Grandma and the Pirates”, I never tasted it but it looks delicious. I also want to be an engineer to build things.
That sounds like a great plan to us! Good luck Camille in everything you do.
