Blogging our way through life!
Join the Twitter chat about children’s blogging

Have you got something to say about children’s blogging?

Maybe you think it’s the best thing since snow days, or that letting a child loose on a blog is a terrible, terrible idea. If you or your child has been blogging for a while, what are your top tips? And what would you advise new kid bloggers not to do? And importantly, how do you set up a safe kid’s blog, without the oogly booglies that lurk on the internet coming to get you?

Whatever your views, this Friday is the time to air them.

Parenting and technology community Quibly are hosting a Twitter chat from 4-5pm UK time (that’s 8am PST or 11am EST) on Friday 25th January 2013.

Anyone can participate – you just need a Twitter account, which is free to set up. If you are a child blogger then ask your parent or carer’s permission before you register.

Follow the host @Quibly so you can see the main questions being posted. Add the hashtag #blogkids to any opinions or points you want to make. If you miss the tweetchat you can always track the conversation later by searching under #blogkids.

You can see who some of the other participants are over here on the Quibly blog. We’ll be there @kidsblogclub

If you don’t have a Twitter account but have a point you’d like to make, leave a comment below and we’ll aim to add it for you.

Tweet you later!
